France organizes charity events for Gironde wildfire victims

Various charitable initiatives are being organized in France to support victims of the summer wildfires in the Gironde region.

A major solidarity concert, ‘Solidarité Incendies’, will take place at the Arkéa Arena near Bordeaux. The event features numerous French artists, including Gims, Renaud, Zazie, Pascal Obispo, -M-, and Julien Clerc. Broadcast live on M6 and RTL, the concert aims to raise funds for the Fondation de France, with over 10,000 spectators expected.

Additionally, chef Philippe Etchebest is organizing a free concert on the seafront in Lacanau on August 30. Performing with his rock group, Chef & The Gang, Etchebest is hosting a fundraiser managed by Secours populaire to assist those who lost property in the fires.
