France releases new hiking and wine tourism guide

A new guide titled ‘Randos Vin en France’ has been released, designed for enthusiasts of both hiking and oenology. The book features approximately 50 itineraries that connect walking paths with wine discovery across various French regions.

The routes are often accessible by train, allowing travelers to explore vineyards from Paris to Marseille, including the Bordeaux valleys and Champagne regions, without relying on cars. The guide highlights the diversity of French terroir, covering established areas as well as emerging viticultural regions such as Normandy, Brittany, and Hauts-de-France, where young vintners are utilizing biodynamic and sustainable agricultural practices.
