France releases weekend activity guides for Dordogne and Lille regions

Local tourism offices in France have published weekend activity guides for early August 2026. In the Dordogne area, the intercommunal office in Boulazac‑Isle‑Manoire offers a railway excursion to Les Eyzies, an evening bat‑watching event at the Parcot farm, night walks in the forest, and a market in Peyzac‑le‑Moustier. Additional attractions include a family show at the Château de Losse, a guided village tour in Aubas, and a nature walk with naturalist Claude Soubiran in Bergerac.

In Lille and its surroundings, a list of ten suggestions includes three large flea markets with about 1,500 exhibitors, the medieval Saint‑Aybert festival, a beach event in Comines‑Warneton (Belgium), an antique‑vehicle rally near Dunkerque, a creator market near the Belgian border, and the return of the Sunday Hot Grill at Mama Shelter. The city also inaugurated two new squares in Lille‑Sud and highlighted the Eurovélo 4 cycling route.

Both guides aim to encourage residents and visitors to explore cultural, historical, and natural attractions over the weekend of August 2‑4, 2026.
