France renews youth sports subsidies for 2026/2027 season

Various sports subsidy programs in France are being renewed or updated for the 2026/2027 season to assist families with registration costs for youth athletic activities.

In the Bresse Louhannaise Intercom’ territory, the ‘Coupon sport’ program will continue. This initiative provides financial support to residents aged 5 to 17 to reduce membership fees at partner sports associations or the AquaBresse swimming school. The aid amount is tiered based on the annual membership fee: 30 € for fees of 30 € or more, 20 € for fees between 20 € and 29 €, and 10 € for fees between 10 € and 19 €. A flat 10 € coupon may also be available for children participating in a second sport.

Nationally, including in the Aisne department, the ‘Pass’Sport’ program is also being renewed for the 2026-2027 season with updated criteria. The subsidy amount is set at 50 € per beneficiary. The program now includes children aged 6 to 17 who belong to households with a CAF or MSA family quotient (quotient familial) of 699 € or less. Rather than being paid directly to families, the amount is deducted from the membership or subscription cost by participating sports structures.
