France reports two minor traffic accidents with slight injuries
A young woman riding a scooter on Boulevard Jacquard in Calais was struck when a parked driver opened his car door, causing a brief jaw injury. She received on‑scene care from firefighters but was not taken to a hospital.
In a separate incident near Molières, a young baker fell asleep while driving home and collided with a tree, which was uprooted and fell on a nearby parked vehicle. The driver sustained only minor scratches and declined hospital transport. Both accidents involved minor injuries and were attended by emergency services.
