France Rénov' launches unified account for housing renovation subsidies
Following a technical maintenance period from August 3 to August 17, the National Housing Agency (Anah) has launched a single personal account system via the France Rénov' platform. This unified account is designed to simplify administrative procedures and enhance security against identity theft and fraud by utilizing FranceConnect+ for authentication.
The new system covers several subsidy programs, including MaPrimeRénov' for energy renovation, MaPrimeAdapt' for housing adaptation due to aging or disability, and Ma Prime Logement Décent for improving substandard housing.
Existing users with previous MaPrimeRénov' or Mon Projet Anah accounts will find their information and ongoing files automatically transferred to the new space once they authenticate. New applicants must create a personal account on the France Rénov' website and confirm their identity via FranceConnect+ or by mail.
Changes to eligibility are expected in September, which may impact certain types of work and gas heating requirements for large-scale renovations.
