France rugby faces injury crisis ahead of November matches

The French national rugby team is facing a significant injury crisis ahead of the upcoming Nations Championship in November. Several key players have been sidelined during domestic and European club competitions.

Fabien Brau-Boirie, a rising center for Section Paloise, sustained a knee injury during a match against Toulon. The 20-year-old was seen limping and in visible pain after a twisting motion, casting doubt on his availability for the national squad.

Other notable absences and injuries include: • Karl Sorin: The 23-year-old tighthead prop requires surgery for a shoulder injury and will be replaced by Thomas Laclayat. • Charles Ollivon: Observed with ice on his wrist during recent play. • Marko Gazzotti: Suffered a hamstring injury during the match between UBB and La Rochelle. • Baptiste Serin: Sustained a concussion. • Antoine Hastoy and Sipili Falatea: Also reported as unavailable due to injury.

National coach Fabien Galthié must now navigate the November international window with a significantly depleted roster.
