France: Salary trends and executive priorities shift in 2026

Recent data highlights shifting economic priorities and salary trends among French professionals in 2026. According to the Randstad Professional Barometer, which analyzed over 43,000 pay slips, supply chain salaries are projected to rise by 2.1%, outpacing the 2.0% average increase for all management positions in France.

Within the supply chain sector, logistics directors and managers are seeing significant gains, with median compensation reaching 51,590 euros—a 5.8% annual increase. Regional disparities exist, with the highest median salaries for logistics management found in Île-de-France (52,070 euros) and Rhône-Alpes (50,230 euros).

Separately, a Viavoice-Secafi survey indicates a shift in professional values. For the first time in a decade, 70% of French executives rank salary as a top priority, equal to work-life balance. This trend follows reports of increasing workloads, with 59% of executives noting higher responsibilities compared to 2025, alongside concerns regarding stagnant purchasing power.
