France takes silver as Madagascar retains doublette gold at Pétanque Junior Worlds in Spain

The 2025 Pétanque Junior World Championships were held in Santa Susanna, Spain. In the mixed triplette final, the French team of Kimberley Bousch, Roxane Croquefer, Sacha Jacquet and Dawson Herlemann were defeated 13‑0 by Thailand, earning a silver medal. The French pair Dawson Herlemann and Kimberley Bousch also captured gold in the mixed precision shooting event, beating Madagascar 28‑10.

Madagascar’s duo Clarito Harison Andriambelonony and Nomena Ramamonjisoa defended their title in the mixed doublette, defeating Spain 13‑6 to win gold. The Malagasy team added two bronze medals, one in mixed triplette after a loss to France and another in precision shooting, completing a three‑medal haul at the championships.
