France tobacco prices to change on November 1
French Customs has announced new retail prices for various tobacco products and cigarettes, effective November 1. The price adjustments include both increases and decreases across different brands.
Several popular brands will see price hikes. Marlboro Red 20-unit soft packs are set to rise from 13.50 euros to 14 euros. Rolling tobacco products, such as Austin Red 30g and Maya 100% tobacco, will increase by 40 centimes. The most significant increase noted for specific items is the Elixyr Ice 50g pot, which will rise by 60 centimes to 14.80 euros.
Conversely, some brands will experience price reductions. Royale Evolved Fusion 20-unit packs will drop by 30 centimes to 11.20 euros. News Instant Rouge XL 25-unit packs are expected to decrease by 40 centimes. Other minor decreases of 10 centimes are planned for Mademoiselle U and certain Elixyr American Blend varieties. Price changes for cigars from brands like Qorum and Nicaragua Gordito are also expected.
