France unrest linked to Neville Roy Singham-funded network

Violent protests and riots in France, which began in late September over issues such as teacher shortages and crumbling school infrastructure, have expanded into broader dissatisfaction with the French government. Observers have noted the presence of a ‘Red-Green Alliance,’ characterized by the cooperation of far-left groups and Islamist elements, including protesters waving Palestinian flags alongside French communist organizations.

Investigations indicate that the movement is being amplified by a network funded by donor Neville Roy Singham. This network, which includes the New York-based BreakThrough News, was previously involved in promoting anti-Israel demonstrations on United States college campuses. Singham, a U.S.-born individual currently residing in Shanghai, has been linked by reports to the Chinese Communist Party.

A recent investigation identified 50 organizations participating in or promoting the French movement. This group includes 15 student or youth organizations, a dozen labor unions, eight communist or socialist organizations, and political parties such as La France Insoumise (LFI) and the French Communist Party.
