Weather alerts issued for Portugal, France, and Brazil

Multiple regions in Portugal, France, and Brazil are facing severe weather warnings. In mainland Portugal, the IPMA has issued a yellow alert for 14 districts, including Aveiro, Porto, and Lisbon, due to risks of heavy showers, thunderstorms, hail, and wind gusts reaching up to 90 km/h. In the Viseu region, strong winds have already caused more than ten trees to fall.

In France, severe weather is expected, with warnings for violent thunderstorms, hail, and potential tornadoes in several regions. In the department of Gers and Lot-et-Garonne, intense rainfall and powerful gusts of up to 120 km/h are possible. Meanwhile, in the Brazilian state of Piauí, meteorologists from Semarh have warned of a concerning weather pattern involving heavy rainfall, strong winds, and lightning across the entire territory.

In Haiti, high temperatures and humidity are being monitored, with warnings issued for the population to stay hydrated and avoid prolonged sun exposure due to Saharan dust in the atmosphere.
