France weather: temperatures to rise up to 23°C following storms
Following recent storms, France is experiencing a period of varied weather characterized by significant regional temperature contrasts. While northern regions face gray skies, light rain, and wind gusts reaching 70 km/h near the English Channel, southern areas are seeing much milder conditions.
In the north and east, morning temperatures are expected to remain low, between 4°C and 8°C, with maximums near the Belgian and German borders staying between 10°C and 12°C. Conversely, the south is experiencing an Indian summer effect, with temperatures in the south-west and south reaching between 20°C and 23°C.
Forecasts indicate a gradual improvement in conditions. By Tuesday, a warming trend initially concentrated in southern regions is expected to spread across the country.
