France-wide recall of d'AUcy canned lentils over seal defect
d'AUcy France issued a voluntary recall of its 265‑gram canned lentils after identifying a risk of seal failure that could lead to product contamination. The affected batches, produced between 13 April and 24 June 2026, were sold nationwide in supermarkets such as Carrefour, Cora, Leclerc and Système U. Consumers are advised not to eat the product, to return it to the point of sale and to contact the provided hotline for reimbursement. The recall will remain open until 25 August 2026.
The French Directorate for Consumer Affairs has highlighted that the faulty sealing may cause micro‑leaks or loss of airtightness, potentially compromising product safety and quality.
