France wins bronze in 4x400m relay at U20 World Athletics Championships

At the U20 World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon, Milann Klemenic and the French 4x400m relay team secured a bronze medal and set a new French U20 national record with a time of 3'04"80.

The relay team, consisting of Milann Klemenic, Rayan Bouhouche, Lucas Couderc, and Dylan Telo, won the medal following a close photo finish against Australia. Klemenic, acting as the first runner, contributed significantly to the performance by clocking a 45"77 split, which also established a new French U20 record for the individual 400m distance.

This achievement served as a redemption for Klemenic, who had finished ninth in the individual 400m final earlier in the championships. His qualification for the individual final was also a historic milestone, marking the first time a French athlete has reached the U20 world final in that event.
