France's ARCEP Opens Search for New President as Côte d'Ivoire's Telecom Regulator Inaugurates New Headquarters

The French telecommunications regulator ARCEP announced an open call for applications to select its next president, as the current term of Laure de La Raudière ends on 3 January 2027. Candidates must demonstrate economic, legal or technical expertise in electronic communications, postal services, press distribution or territorial economics, be under 65 years old, and submit their dossiers by 31 August 2026. A panel will interview up to five candidates before recommending a nominee to the French President for a six‑year term.

In Côte d’Ivoire, the Conseil de Régulation de l’Artci moved into a newly built 1 470 m² headquarters in the Anoumabo district of Marcory. The building, inaugurated on 30 July 2026 in the presence of minister Djibril Ouattara, features eight offices, conference rooms and a solar array of 600 panels. New regulator president Roger Félix Adom described the site as a “place of dialogue and strategic decisions” aimed at supporting effective competition and innovation in the rapidly evolving telecom sector.
