France's public broadcasters unveil new summer line‑ups
France Inter announced that presenter Camille Combal will host a weekly summer show from 4 July to 22 August 2026, airing each Saturday at noon. The programme will feature a fictitious municipal council format with games, quizzes and improvisation involving the station’s voices.
At the same time, France Télévisions is reshuffling its schedule for the autumn. Flavie Flament will join Jimmy Mohamed as co‑host of "Le Magazine de la santé" when it moves from France 5 to France 2 in September. The broadcaster also plans to drop several daily programmes, convert others to weekly slots and consider further cuts to games and sports as part of a wider cost‑saving drive.
Both moves reflect a broader effort by France’s public media to refresh content and reduce expenses ahead of upcoming budget reductions.
