Francesca Fagnani seeks to end exclusive contract with Rai

Television presenter Francesca Fagnani has reportedly expressed her intention to terminate her exclusive contract with Rai, which is currently set to remain valid until the spring of 2027. According to reports, Fagnani sent a formal letter to Rai executives in June via her representative, seeking to resolve the agreement early.

The potential departure is attributed to a compromised relationship of trust with certain parts of the company and a perceived lack of professional valorization. Specific tensions reportedly involve the lack of a clear production plan for her program, ‘Belve’, which is scheduled to air from October 20 to December 1.

Rai has responded to the rumors by issuing a statement describing Fagnani as a ‘fundamental asset’ and a ‘precious resource’ for the Prime Time Entertainment Department. While discussions regarding the future of ‘Belve’ have continued throughout the summer, the presenter's future remains a subject of speculation, with potential moves to Mediaset or La7 being discussed in the media.
