Francesco Faccin to lead design lecture at Cersaie 2026

Industrial designer Francesco Faccin will lead the ‘Lezione alla rovescia’ (Reverse Lesson) at Cersaie 2026. This event, part of the ‘Costruire, Abitare, Pensare’ cultural program organized by Assoposa, is scheduled for September 25 at the BolognaFiere Congress Center.

Following a tradition established in 2010 by Enzo Mari, the session involves direct dialogue between a master designer and high school students. Faccin, who previously worked with Mari and studied high-end woodworking, approaches design as a multidisciplinary tool to address contemporary issues through industrial design, social design, and craftsmanship.

Industrial design encompasses various specializations, including product design for mass production, UX/UI design for smart devices, packaging design, automotive design, and prototyping. The field aims to integrate aesthetics, functionality, ergonomics, and sustainability into everyday objects.
