Francesco Filidei and Claudio Proietti present new monograph

Claudio Proietti and composer Francesco Filidei will meet at Libreria Ghibellina to present the book ‘I nomi della musica. Francesco Filidei dal 1995 al 2026’. This publication serves as the first Italian monograph dedicated to Filidei, an influential Italian composer known for his diverse musical expressions.

The book covers Filidei’s artistic journey over the last three decades, ranging from experimental works using noise and gestures to large-scale symphonic-choral compositions and musical theater. The volume is divided into three sections: an analytical account based on dialogues with the author, a collection of testimonies from international artists who have collaborated with him, and a chronological catalogue of his works.
