Francesco Ginesu installed as commissioner of Sassari Academy of Fine Arts

Francesco Ginesu has officially taken office as the new commissioner of the Accademia di Belle Arti ‘Mario Sironi’ in Sassari. His appointment was made via decree by the Minister of University and Research, Anna Maria Bernini.

Ginesu, an entrepreneur from Sassari and a former member of the Academy’s Board of Directors, previously served as an administrative expert for the Ministry for two years. In his new role, he aims to address the institution's needs by meeting with department heads, the student council, and administrative staff to establish a shared operational framework.

A Board of Directors meeting presided over by Ginesu is scheduled for September 8. A primary objective for the upcoming session will be the unblocking of the budget, which is essential for the Academy to program activities and manage ordinary operations.
