Francesco Moser discusses rivalry with Saronni and Italian politics

Italian cycling legend Francesco Moser has addressed his long-standing friction with fellow cyclist Saronni. Speaking on Rai Radio1, Moser noted that despite past attempts at friendship, Saronni has made controversial claims, including the accusation that Moser ‘stole’ a Giro d’Italia.

Moser also commented on the Italian political landscape, expressing views on figures such as Elly Schlein, Giorgia Meloni, and Giuseppe Conte. He shared that his political leanings have historically included the Christian Democracy party and noted his preference for stability within governing coalitions.
