Francesco Patierno suspended two matches for unsportsmanlike conduct

The Lega Pro sports judge has issued a two-match suspension to Casarano player Francesco Patierno following a match against Monopoli. The sanction was imposed after Patierno struck an opponent with an elbow to the ribs during the second half, an act deemed gravely unsportsmanlike.

In addition to the player's suspension, Casarano has been fined 500 euros. The penalty follows incidents involving supporters in the Curva Nord sector, who were found to have chanted offensive insults toward an opposing player and displayed a large banner containing offensive language.
