Francesco Rocca of Lazio leads Italian regional presidents in social media growth

A report covering Italian regional presidents’ digital presence shows Lazio’s Francesco Rocca topping the list for follower growth on Instagram and Facebook. He is followed in the Instagram‑Facebook growth ranking by Veneto’s Alberto Stefani and Piedmont’s Alberto Cirio.

Roberto Fico of Campania records the highest engagement rate, with Antonio Decaro (Puglia) and Alessandra Todde (Sardinia) close behind. In the last six months the biggest absolute follower increases were recorded by Roberto Occhiuto (+49 000), Stefani (+45 000) and Cirio (+38 000). Roberto Schifani (Sicily) leads in total online mentions, ahead of Decaro and Rocca. On Facebook, Stefani enjoys the highest engagement (6.4 %), followed by Todde (4.1 %) and Rocca (3.6 %). The pages with the strongest percentage growth are Rocca (+77 %), Stefani (+74 %) and Occhiuto (+36 %).
