Francesco Savoretti launches Suoni Erranti music project

Musician and researcher Francesco Savoretti has launched ‘Suoni Erranti’, the first department in the Marche region dedicated to traditional and world music. The project follows Savoretti’s experience with ‘Cantico’, an Italo-Korean production presented at the Seoul International Dance Festival.

‘Cantico’ utilized a blend of music, dance, theater, and new technologies to explore the legacy of Saint Francis of Assisi. The production featured a dialogue between Italian traditions and Korean musical elements, such as the gayageum and Pansori, supported by the Italian Cultural Institute and the Embassy of Italy in Seoul.
