Francisco Beltrão holds community event for International Day of Older Persons

To mark the International Day of Older Persons, the Francisco Beltrão City Council, through the Office of the Elderly, organized a community gathering in the São Cristóvão neighborhood. The event brought together over 200 participants and featured a performance by the CCI Choir, legal and health lectures, and a theatrical presentation titled ‘Experiência da Melhor Idade’.

Attendees received copies of the Statute of the Elderly. The initiative, led by Councilman Silmar Gallina, aims to connect the legislative branch with the population while providing opportunities for knowledge and social integration. This event is part of a series of four scheduled meetings, with the final one set for October 15 in the Alvorada neighborhood.
