Francisco Beltrão prepares major Independence Day parade, launches Expofeira Mulher 2027

The municipal Secretariat of Education and Culture in Francisco Beltrão began final preparations for the city’s traditional Independence Day (7 September) civic parade. Registrations for schools, associations and other groups are open until 23 August, with organizers aiming for one of the largest parades in the city’s history, expecting thousands of participants and spectators along Tenente Camargo street. Director Wilian Amann emphasized the event’s role in community integration and highlighted safety, health and comfort measures.

On 24 August, the Associação Empresarial de Francisco Beltrão will hold the official launch of the 15th Expofeira Mulher, a fair focused on female entrepreneurship in the Southwest of Paraná. The event, coordinated by entrepreneur Naiara Corá and sponsored by Sicoob, will feature exhibitions, lectures, cultural attractions and networking opportunities for women‑led businesses across sectors such as fashion, beauty, health and gastronomy.
