Francisco Beltrão to adopt national electronic service invoice system
Starting November 1, 2026, the municipality of Francisco Beltrão will transition to the National Electronic Service Invoice (NFS-e) issuer, a platform provided by the Brazilian Federal Government. This change, mandated by Municipal Decree No. 241/2026, will replace the current Equiplano municipal system.
Upon implementation, the municipal platform's functions for issuing and canceling invoices will be deactivated. The transition applies to all service providers established in the city, not just Microentrepreneurs (MEIs) or companies under the Simples Nacional regime.
Tax auditor Hari Roque Nunes Baldo noted that the shift aims to increase agility and the reliability of fiscal information by ensuring all local invoices are integrated into the national environment. The change will require adaptations from service providers, accounting professionals, and support agents regarding access credentials and internal procedures.
