Francisco Conesa wins painting prize in Alcázar

Francisco Conesa has been awarded the second prize in the XXX International Painting Contest of the City of Alcázar, organized by the Diputación de Ciudad Real. His winning piece, titled ‘Dentro de mí’, is a mixed-media work measuring 130 by 130 centimeters, utilizing acrylic and graphite.

The award includes a prize of 4,000 euros and the incorporation of the artwork into the provincial artistic collection. María Jesús Pelayo, first vice president of the Diputación, presented the award and noted that supporting culture helps recognize talent and enriches the collective artistic heritage of the province. Juana Alonso Falcó was named the winner of this 30th edition of the contest.
