Francisco Fydriszewski secures $800,000 embargo against San Lorenzo

Argentine striker Francisco Fydriszewski has secured a preventive embargo of $800,000 against San Lorenzo through the judicial court of Lille, France. The seizure was applied to funds San Lorenzo was due to receive from the transfer of goalkeeper Orlando Gill to the French club Lille.

The debt stems from unpaid salaries and indemnities that San Lorenzo acknowledged in December 2024. While the club initially agreed to a $900,000 settlement, Fydriszewski claims only $100,000 has been paid. Although the current embargo is limited to the $800,000 principal, the player’s total claim exceeds $1.4 million when including interests and penalties, which remain subject to ongoing legal proceedings.

Fydriszewski had a brief tenure at San Lorenzo, appearing in only four matches. This legal victory follows a separate favorable ruling from FIFA against Barcelona SC, which ordered that club to pay the player approximately $456,703 plus interest.
