Francisco Mezquita Broch to present historical memory books in Vila-real

Author Francisco Mezquita Broch will present two books, ‘Anys de batxillerat’ and ‘Memòria dels vençuts’, at the Lliures bookstore in Vila-real on November 13. Both works are published by Onada Edicions.

‘Anys de batxillerat’ explores academic life and the transition from the Franco era to democratic educational reforms, contrasting the author's experiences as both a student and a teacher. ‘Memòria dels vençuts’ focuses on the hardships of the post-Civil War period, following a protagonist through imprisonment and forced labor camps during the first eight years of the post-war era.
