Franck Muller CEO visits Nigeria to engage luxury watch collectors
Franck Muller CEO Nicolas Rudaz recently completed his first official visit to Nigeria, engaging with luxury watch collectors in Lagos and Abuja. Hosted by Polo Luxury, the visit aimed to strengthen the Swiss watchmaker’s presence in the region and provide direct interaction with the local market.
Rudaz noted that Nigerian collectors are increasingly seeking sophisticated, complicated timepieces, demonstrating a growing interest in the technical craftsmanship and mechanical engineering behind luxury watches. He described Nigeria as a significant market within the broader African luxury sector.
The visit included training for retail sales teams and presentations on the brand’s technical capabilities, such as its ‘Master of Complications’ approach. Featured discussions included specialized models like the Thunderbolt Tourbillon, Crazy Hours, and the Aeternitas Mega, which contains 36 complications and 1,483 components.
