Franco Baresi mural to be restored at Casa Milan

Artist Luca Rosada, known as Lucas Street Art, has announced he will restore the vandalized mural dedicated to former AC Milan captain Franco Baresi in front of Casa Milan. The restoration is scheduled for Saturday, October 10, at approximately 9:30 AM.

The new work will be a larger paste-up made from recycled paper, featuring a smiling Baresi dressed in Rossonero colors. This new piece replaces the original artwork that was recently defaced. Rosada noted that while his paper-based works are temporary by nature, the vandalism was deeply upsetting because of the respect and emotion the image evoked in fans.

The creation of the new mural is expected to take about two hours.
