Franco Colapinto details theft of personal belongings in Italy

Formula 1 driver Franco Colapinto revealed details regarding a theft he experienced in Milan, Italy, during the recent racing break. The Argentine driver reported that while he was dining at a restaurant, thieves broke into his vehicle and stole nearly all of his belongings, including his wallet, passport, clothing, and personal items such as a mate and thermos.

After filing a report and returning to Monaco, Colapinto was contacted by Italian police, who had recovered his documents. This required him to travel approximately 1,200 kilometers in a single day to retrieve his identification. While he described the incident as the “worst day” of his life, he noted that the experience served as a learning moment.

Colapinto is currently preparing for the Dutch Grand Prix, where he will continue competing with Alpine.
