Franculino Dju records seven goals in eight matches for Trabzonspor

Franculino Dju, the 22-year-old forward transferred from Denmark's Midtjylland, has made a significant impact since joining Trabzonspor in early September. In eight official appearances, the striker has contributed seven goals across domestic and European competitions.

In the Trendyol Süper Lig, Dju has scored four goals, including a brace in a 4-3 away victory against Çaykur Rizespor. His league contributions have helped secure nine points for the team in the matches where he scored. He has also proven effective in the UEFA Conference League, netting three goals in two matches, including two against Finland's KuPS Kuopio and one against Scotland's Hearts.

Dju rose to prominence following an injury to Paul Onuachu. He has since surpassed Onuachu's current season tally of two goals. Within Trabzonspor's attacking lineup for the first nine weeks of the league, Dju follows Muhammed Salah, who leads the team with eight goals.
