Frank Annoh-Dompreh honored for environmental sustainability advocacy

Frank Annoh-Dompreh, the Minority Chief Whip and Member of Parliament for Nsawam-Adoagyiri, has received two awards for his work in environmental sustainability and green development.

At the 3rd International Conference on ESG and Sustainable Development of Africa (ICESDA), Annoh-Dompreh was presented with the Green Societal Impact and Sustainability Ambassadorial Award and the ICESDA Green Capital Partnership Award. The conference focused on driving inclusive green growth through environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles and digitalization across Africa.

Award presenters recognized the lawmaker for his efforts to bring community-level environmental challenges to the attention of Parliament and for advocating for green legislation, even during periods when such issues lacked political urgency. The recognition emphasized the importance of integrating environmental evidence into legislative debates to balance economic development with environmental protection.
