Frank Bruno says Tyson Fury's age could affect Anthony Joshua showdown
Former British heavyweight champion Frank Bruno has warned that Tyson Fury's advancing age may give Anthony Joshua an edge in their proposed November clash, which would be one of the biggest heavyweight bouts in recent British boxing history. Bruno highlighted that Fury, now 37 and two years older than the 35‑year‑old Joshua, has endured a decade of high‑profile fights that could be taking a toll.
Both fighters are expected to take warm‑up bouts before the showdown: Joshua will face Kristian Prenga on July 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, while Fury is slated to fight an Albanian opponent in August. Bruno said the fight is "good for boxing" and that Joshua's mindset could be decisive, but warned that "old age is catching up with Tyson Fury".
