Frank Buschmann withdraws from personal social media use

German sports commentator Frank Buschmann has announced his final withdrawal from personal social media use. The 61-year-old, known for his work with Sky and RTL, stated that the “madness” and the tone of interaction on social media platforms do not do him any good personally.

After six weeks of deliberation with his management regarding whether to delete his accounts or repurpose them, Buschmann decided to keep his Instagram account active but will no longer operate it himself. His management will take over the profile to provide updates on his professional projects, media collaborations, and entertainment work for his approximately 226,000 followers.

Buschmann had previously announced his intention to leave platforms such as Facebook and X before making this final decision regarding Instagram.
