Frank Carter ejects fan from Sex Pistols concert in Denver

During a Sex Pistols performance at the Ogden Theatre in Denver, frontman Frank Carter ejected a male audience member for entering a designated women-only mosh pit. Carter had established the area to provide a safe space for women and trans individuals to dance without the risk of physical or sexual harassment.

The singer confronted the man from the stage, arguing that women often face physical injury, such as being struck in the head, in mixed mosh pits. Following the incident, Carter used social media to reinforce his stance, stating that the space is intended for those who do not typically feel safe in concert environments and that he will not tolerate misogyny, racism, or homophobia.

In a notable turn of events, the ejected man’s father publicly apologized to Carter via Instagram. The father described his son’s behavior as “idiotic,” stating it did not reflect his upbringing and noting that the family was upset by the incident.
