Frank Edoho’s Estranged Wife Sued Over Defamatory Instagram Posts

Entrepreneur Adekoya Ibukunoluwa filed a memorandum of claim on July 17, 2026 demanding ₦100 million in damages from Sandra Edoho, the estranged wife of popular Nigerian broadcaster Frank Edoho. The claim alleges that Sandra posted defamatory Instagram content that linked Adekoya to an extramarital affair with Frank, constituting libel, fraudulent misrepresentation and invasion of privacy. The memorandum details an alleged incident in November 2023 when Sandra, allegedly impersonating Frank on WhatsApp, invited Adekoya to the couple’s residence in Victoria Garden City, Lagos, offered ₦10 million, and later confined her in a room while posing as Frank’s brother. Frank reportedly expressed shock and apologized when the allegations were presented. The accusations remain untested in court.
