Frank Gehry-designed Santa Monica loft listed for $2.39M

A rare triplex loft designed by the late Pritzker Prize-winning architect Frank Gehry has been listed for $2.39 million in Santa Monica, California. The 2,565-square-foot residence was created in 1992 in collaboration with artist Charles Adnoldi.

Originally intended as minimalist artist studios for Gehry, Adnoldi, and their associates, the units feature high ceilings, large open wall spaces, industrial-scale windows, and oversized skylights. The property currently functions as both a private residence and an art gallery, featuring three bedrooms and two bathrooms with ocean views.

According to listing broker Brandon Assanti of The Agency, sales in the six-unit building are exceptionally rare, with only one other transaction occurring since 2014. The current owners, who purchased the loft for $1.33 million in 2014, are relocating to New York.
