Frank Lampard discusses Alex Iwobi and Eberechi Eze

Coventry City manager Frank Lampard has commented on the professional qualities of former players and current talents, specifically highlighting Alex Iwobi and Eberechi Eze.

Regarding Alex Iwobi, Lampard praised the Nigerian international’s versatility and work ethic during their time together at Everton. Lampard noted that Iwobi’s ability to perform at a high level in various positions was crucial for the club during relegation battles. While Iwobi suggested Lampard “resurrected” his career, Lampard described him as a consistent player who provided significant value in training and on the pitch.

Lampard also used Eberechi Eze’s recent performance for Arsenal as an example of professionalism. Following Eze’s goal in a Champions League draw against Bayern Munich after coming off the bench, Lampard highlighted the importance of maintaining high standards even when players face difficult selection decisions or substitutions. He used Eze’s attitude to encourage his own players, such as Gustavo Hamer, to remain committed to their roles and training.
