Frank Lampard discusses managerial influences at Coventry City

Coventry City manager Frank Lampard has discussed the managerial influences that shape his leadership style. In an interview for BBC Sport, Lampard identified Jose Mourinho and Carlo Ancelotti as his primary inspirations.

Lampard described the two managers as “both sides of the coin.” He noted that Mourinho provided intense self-confidence and strength, while Ancelotti offered a “chilled and calm” environment built on trust. The 48-year-old manager stated that he attempts to strike a balance between the two approaches, adopting a more relaxed, human-centric method for personal issues while utilizing a firmer approach when players fail to perform on the pitch.
