Frank Rosin: Re-airing of failed ‘Manolo’ restaurant rescue

The television network Kabel Eins is re-airing a notable episode of ‘Rosins Restaurants’ featuring the Mexican restaurant ‘Manolo’ in Osnabrück. The original intervention, which took place in 2017, was marked by significant controversy and failed to save the establishment.

During the filming, star chef Frank Rosin criticized the restaurant's reliance on microwaves and reported that food during a test meal smelled of urine. Due to these hygiene concerns and unresolved issues regarding the lease agreement, the rescue mission was aborted. By the time the episode originally aired in December 2017, the restaurant had already closed its doors.
