Frankfort emergency services report weekend incidents

Emergency services in Frankfort and Franklin County reported a variety of incidents over a recent weekend. Law enforcement and first responders addressed multiple motor vehicle accidents on Versailles Road, Moore Drive, Louisville Road, and U.S. 127 South, most of which resulted in no injuries.

Criminal activity reported included a computer hacking and fraud complaint on West Campbell Street, a vehicle break-in at the Hampton Inn on U.S. 127 South, and vandalism at the Benson Valley Marina. Additionally, officers responded to a theft in progress at a Walmart on Leonardwood Drive involving two individuals.

Other notable calls included a boat rescue on the Kentucky River near the Interstate 64 bridge, where a disabled vessel was towed to the Benson Valley boat ramp, and an abuse complaint on Ridgeview Drive.
