Frankfurt Golf Club Secures Spot in German DGL Final Four after Court Ruling

The Landgericht Wiesbaden issued an injunction shortly before the opening drive of the 2026 Final Four of the German Golf League (DGL) presented by All4Golf. The court ruled that the St. Leon‑Rot Golf Club had fielded an ineligible player on two match days, leading to a null‑point penalty for those rounds and dropping the club to third place with 14 points.

As a result, the Frankfurt Golf Club moved up to second place with 18 points and qualified for the Final Four, which will be held at the GC München‑Riedhof on 2 August. The German Golf Association confirmed it will enforce the decision and adjust the semifinal pairings: GC Hubbelrath (North) will face Frankfurt GC, and GC Am Habsberg (South) will meet G&LC Berlin‑Wannsee.

The ruling reshapes the championship battle, giving Frankfurt a chance to contest the German team title after the last‑minute legal intervention.
