Frankfurt urban development: new towers and revitalization projects
Frankfurt is undergoing significant urban development and commercial expansion, characterized by both new construction and the revitalization of existing structures.
The Sparda-Bank Tower in the Europaviertel is nearing completion, featuring the newly opened ATLANTIC Hotel, a four-star superior establishment with 373 rooms. This development also includes a new 5,000-square-meter entrance for the Messe Frankfurt, which recently opened for the Automechanika trade fair.
In the Bockenheimer Landstraße area, the CENTRAL PARX project is a 370 million euro revitalization of a historic ensemble designed by Sep Ruf. The project, which includes a tower, studio, and pavilion, is largely pre-leased to firms such as White & Case and Noerr, with full completion expected by mid-2028.
Complementing these large-scale developments, the city's hospitality scene is expanding with the upcoming opening of The Gravenitz. This new wine-focused day bar in the city center aims to cater to Frankfurt's high population of single-person households by offering flexible dining hours and counter seating.
