Frankfurter Metallkasse GmbH introduces gold-based employee benefit plan

Frankfurter Metallkasse GmbH, based in Hanau, has developed the ‘GoldWert-Sparplan’, a specialized product designed for employers to provide employee benefits through physical precious metals.

Under this plan, employees receive 50 euros monthly in the form of physical precious metals. This method is designed to be exempt from income tax and social security contributions. The metals are purchased at wholesale prices for kilogram bars and are stored in a customs-free warehouse to provide additional tax advantages.

As an alternative to traditional benefits like fuel vouchers or shopping cards, which companies often find lack long-term impact, this plan aims to support long-term wealth accumulation. The administrative process for employers involves setting up an automatic monthly transfer of 50 euros per participating employee, which can be integrated into existing payroll processes.
