François Bayrou faces appeal court questioning in MoDem fund case

François Bayrou, leader of the centrist MoDem party, is scheduled to be questioned by the Paris Court of Appeal regarding the misuse of European Parliament funds. The case involves allegations of complicity in the embezzlement of public funds through the use of parliamentary assistants who were allegedly paid by the European Parliament but worked exclusively for the MoDem party.
