François Cros to leave Stade Toulousain for LOU Rugby

French international flanker François Cros has confirmed he will leave Stade Toulousain at the end of the current season to join LOU Rugby on a three-year contract.

The 32-year-old expressed significant emotional difficulty regarding the decision, describing the departure as a “heartbreak” and a “wrenching” experience due to his deep attachment to the Toulouse club. In an interview with Midi Olympique, Cros noted that the period of uncertainty surrounding his future was physically and mentally taxing, leading to sleepless nights and stress during his physical preparation.

Despite his reluctance to leave, Cros emphasized his commitment to remaining fully invested in Stade Toulousain for the remainder of the season. He stated that he sought to clarify his situation before the championship began to allow himself to focus on upcoming sporting challenges.
